One of the best results of today's shoot. This was taken from Tower Beach's pier, looking southwest. The little white building there marks Maple Beach. I didn't change much, minus the channels.

There's a variance in exposure due to the way I shot this. I had my Hoya R72 filter w/ a 58mm thread mounted on step ring, attached to my Canon 17-35 2.8 L. That lens has a thread of 77mm. Rather odd, but I believe this worked better than the 75-300 did.

That's awesome, is it hard to meter for exposure having an IR filter? I like the color of the water and just how cool IR looks

it's nearly impossible. looking through the lens with an IR filter on is like peering into a black hole. I had to guess, shoot, guess, shoot.
